Welcome to the newest edition of Glimpse – the Webster University Alumni Digital Publication. In this issue, you will find stories about our Webster community and the impact we are making across the globe.

You will hear about alumni volunteers’ unique experiences serving in the Peace Corps and Americorps and get an inside perspective from students, past and present, who have been involved in political activism both on campus and in our global community. Their transformational experiences remind us that We are all Webster.

You will learn more about fellow alumni and students who have developed successful mentorships through the Webster University Mentoring Program and meet some of our incredible alumni, including Ambassador José Tomás Pérez, who is currently serving as the U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, and Mickey Dwyer-Dobbin, a former TV executive and producer, who has remained close to her alma mater for over 50 years.

You will read stories that recognize our outstanding faculty and staff, who donate their time, talent and treasure to improve our Webster community. It is clear we would not be the Webster we are today without the support and dedication of these individuals.

Finally, I invite you to help us pay tribute to the deans who retired from the university in December and who left a tremendous impact on the lives of students and their fellow colleagues during their many years of service to Webster.

I hope these stories remind you of your connection to your alma mater and to each other. All of us at Webster are proud of your part in the Webster story.
